Your account

When you sign up we store your email address, your name if you give it, and a login handled by our sign-in provider, Clerk. We keep a record of your searches, your credit balance and your credit history so the product works and so you can see your own usage.

When an account is created we note the IP address it came from. We use it only to spot abuse, such as one person opening many accounts.

The business data we show

Search results come from public business listings and from the public websites of those businesses: business names, categories, ratings, phone numbers, addresses, contact emails and, where a business names its owner or manager in public, that name and role. We do not buy personal data and we do not collect information about private individuals who are not running a business.

How we use your information

  • To run your searches, keep your results and show your usage.
  • To take payments and keep billing records, through our payment provider.
  • To reply when you contact us.
  • To protect the service from abuse.

We do not sell your information, and we do not send emails to the businesses you find. What you do with your results is your decision and your responsibility.

Cookies and analytics

We use the cookies our sign-in provider needs to keep you logged in. Our website analytics are cookie-free and do not track you across other sites.

Your rights

You can download everything we hold about you, and delete your account and all of your data, at any time from the Account page. If you need help, write to [email protected].

Businesses that want to be removed

If you own a business and do not want it to appear in our results, use the removal form. Once processed, your business stops appearing in new searches.
