API and MCP

Everything the app does, from your own code or your AI assistant. Same credits, same limits.

1. Get a key

Create a key on your Account page. It is shown once, so store it somewhere safe. You can have up to 5 keys and revoke any of them at any time.

2. Use it with Claude, Cursor or any MCP client

Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http localbuyerfinder https://localbuyerfinder.com/api/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY"

Any client that takes a JSON config:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "localbuyerfinder": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://localbuyerfinder.com/api/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_KEY" }
    }
  }
}

Then just ask: "Find 50 roofing contractors in Boise with no real website and show me the owners."

3. Or call the REST API

curl -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY" "https://localbuyerfinder.com/api/v1/cities?q=boise"

curl -X POST -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"business_type":"roofing_contractor","city_id":5586437,"limit":50}' \
